Every year American Express launches a campaign to encourage its customer base to Shop Small by supporting local. We worked with the client to identify a list of small businesses that are commonly found in neighbourhoods and illustrated a vibrant scene that encapsulates the spirit of a thriving community.

For the 2023 edition of Shop Small, the client commissioned us to illustrate an artwork for the pop-up market event held for a week at Suntec City. We also got the opportunity to art direct and collaborate with hearing-impaired artist Isaac Liang on a new design showcasing six examples of small businesses for exclusive campaign merchandise such as tote bags, notebooks, product packaging and bamboo plates.
